Welcome, and thank you for being here

Nadi Massage Therapy is deeply committed to the wellbeing of every client. At a time of constant distraction and stimulation, it's never been more important to find real ways in which we can connect with ourselves.

The body is one of the best tools we have to feel deeper into our life.

In Sanskrit, Nadi means tube, stream or pipe. It is the subtle energy force that connects all parts of the physical body together. Within these pathways run the life force energy connecting all parts of our world.

When the Nadi in the body is healthy, it is much easier to balance day-to-day. It is when the mind, body and spirit are all in balance, that we are able to truly experience life the way we were meant to.

Nadi's philosophy is called simply the "ripple effect". The more well we are in our bodies, minds and hearts, the more well our communities and families are. This is not to take on too much responsibility for others' states of being, rather to recognize that we are all powerful, and have an effect on one another.

When we are able to live in right relationship with ourselves, the Earth, and those around us, we are able to create more kindness, fulfillment and security.

The intention is simple yet profound.

As above, so below.

About me

Cassidy is a Licensed Massage therapist from Denver, Colorado and is happy to call Seattle home. She spends much of her time practicing her craft, playing music, and enjoying the fruits of what the Pacific NorthWest has to offer. She spent most of her younger years traveling nomadically around the Southwest and South America, until finally feeling at home when she arrived in Washington for the first time in 2022.

After graduating Massage Therapy school in 2018, she had a completely different outlook on life. Not only was she now endowed with the knowledge of a good practitioner, she also learned how to become more connected to the world through her touch. She spent several years after graduation traveling and studying on many different permaculture farms around Hawaii, South America and the US, all the while massaging and practicing her methods. This work offered many gifts, one being how to to continuously work with the land; along with reverence of different cultures, the understanding that we as a people are all one, and the insatiable passion of advocating for the health of our Earth.

As a young adult, Cassidy was fortunate enough to be able to put a lot of thought into what she wanted to do with her life. She explored college, first studying nursing, then eventually finding great inspiration from her sustainability teacher. She changed her major to Environmental Ethics with a minor in Sustainability.

She spent the next year and a half in Geology, Biology and Ethics classes, in which she found the conversations and connections that lit her up inside. However she was, admittedly, tired of sitting in classrooms. She yearned for something more cathartic than reading textbooks. This was when she set her sights for something more "hands on", if you will. That's when she found a permaculture school set in the biodiverse rainforests of Panama.

She applied, interviewed, and was accepted. She dropped out of college, and set out in the January of 2017. Here, her love for the Earth took deep root. She learned what it truly meant to develop a relationship with our Earth, and from here on out, would take that with her wherever she went.

This was also where she learned that massage would be a part of her life. After long days digging, planting, hiking, hauling, cooking, harvesting, prepping, curating an entire farm with 150 people, she was intuitively called to remedy the soreness of her community with massage. This is when she learned that she had a natural inclination for bodywork, and found great joy in relieving people of their aches and pains. She fell in love with the idea of Bodywork, and after returning to the states enrolled in MountainHeart school of massage therapy and transformation in Crested Butte, Colorado. Here, the culmination of care for the Earth and for her community came togoether.

When Cassidy finally found a place she felt she could call home, she started working on establishing roots to connect with the people and the land here in Washington. She has fallen deeply in love with the ever-flowing grey/blue waters that nourish the land, the larger-than-life mountains that offer protection and wisdom, and the aliveness that is offered here. She has been inspired to give back to the people and the land, intending to connect the two through the methods she has learned.
